Care & Cleaning
Looking after your KISSTOY properly keeps it safe, keeps it working, and keeps your 2-year warranty valid. It takes about a minute.
Before you use it for the first time
Wash it before first use, even though it arrives sealed. Rinse with warm water, use a small amount of unscented soap, rinse again, and pat dry with a clean towel.
Charge it fully before the first use. This helps the battery hold its capacity over the long term.
Cleaning after every use
- Switch the product off completely.
- Rinse with warm — not hot — water.
- Use a mild, unscented soap, or a cleaner made for body-safe silicone.
- Rinse thoroughly until no soap remains. Soap residue is the most common cause of irritation.
- Pat dry with a clean, lint-free towel and let it air-dry fully before storing.
Water and your product. Check the water rating on your product page before submerging anything. A splash-resistant product can be rinsed but must not be held under water. Fully waterproof products can be submerged. If you are unsure, rinse rather than submerge.
Keep the charging port dry. Never rinse near the port, and make sure it is completely dry before charging.
What to avoid
- Alcohol, bleach, vinegar, acetone or any household cleaner
- Hot water, boiling, dishwashers or microwaves
- Abrasive cloths or scouring pads
- Storing it while still damp
Any of these can damage the silicone or the seals, and damage caused this way is not covered by the warranty.
Lubricant compatibility
Use water-based lubricant. It is compatible with silicone products and washes off easily.
Avoid silicone-based lubricant. Silicone lubricant reacts with silicone surfaces over time and can leave them tacky or degraded — permanently, and not under warranty.
Avoid oil-based lubricant and household oils, including coconut oil. They are difficult to remove fully and can break down materials.
Charging
Use only the cable supplied, or a standard USB cable of the same type. Do not use fast-charging bricks intended for phones and laptops.
Charge at room temperature. Unplug once fully charged. If you will not use the product for a long period, charge it to roughly half before storing, and top it up every few months.
If the product does not respond, connect it to power for 10 minutes before assuming there is a fault — a fully depleted battery can take a few minutes to wake up.
Storage
Store it clean, dry and on its own — the storage bag supplied is ideal. Silicone surfaces can react with each other, so avoid storing two silicone products touching.
Keep it out of direct sunlight and away from heat. Store it somewhere private and out of reach of children.
Hygiene notes
Do not share a product between people without cleaning it thoroughly first, or using a barrier.
If you notice any change in the surface — tackiness, cracking, discolouration or a change in smell — stop using it and contact us.
Wash your hands before and after use.
When to contact us

- The product does not charge or does not switch on after 10 minutes on the charger
- The surface changes texture, colour or smell
- Anything arrives damaged or does not perform as described
- You are unsure whether something is covered by your warranty
